We are increasingly concerned by what we will find on our tables. We are more and more people looking for fresh, locally produced and when possible, chemical-free food. Foodcell offers an innovative solution that works in 2 ways:
 1) residents as well as visitors can purchase bio and/or locally produced food in their close surroundings.
 2) food producers & providers can interact directly with their local community.

The public page upper part displays one-time events, like markets or on-day farm sales, while the lower part shows fixed sale points like farm shops, with opening times, maps & geolocation.

When coupled with GuestBuddy or Travelboard, this is an unique tool for visitors looking for fresh and genuine local food.
As a stand alone app, it is an everyday information point for all, local and visitor.

Foodcell in the platform


This application is part of the HiSpots platform, an online system supporting an unlimited number of extensions.

This diagram shows the information flow: users upload and update their content. Depending on specifications and users choices, content is directed to the right channel, app or website.

HiSpots can, among others:
 - be implemented in any geographical area in a matter of clicks
 - allow unlimited types of users with dedicated panels
 - be presented in an unlimited number of languages
 - fetch content to any 3rd party website or server, with fully customisable layout

Another way to visualize the platform is a tree trunk supporting as many branches - namely apps - as we just want to attach. Every one of these enjoys all the features of the base application: maps & geolocation, translations, etc.
